Invisalign First is Invisalign designed for children who still have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth coming through. The aligners are made to work with a jaw that is still growing rather than one that has finished, which is what makes them different from the adult version. From £2,500, planned personally by a specialist orthodontist.
It is designed for the stage where baby teeth and adult teeth are both present. Children at this stage are still growing, which is exactly why treatment can be simpler now than later - there is growth to work with rather than against.
The only way to know is an assessment. Dr Kyi will tell you honestly if your child is not ready, and keep an eye on them until they are, rather than starting something for the sake of starting it.

Chosen by parents in Hammersmith for the way it fits around school, sport and family life.
Aligners come out for meals, for cleaning teeth, and for contact sports. No brackets to come loose in a rugby match.
No restrictions on what your child can eat, because the aligners are out while they are eating.
Children brush and floss normally, which matters a great deal at an age when brushing is already a negotiation.
An iTero Lumina scan shows your child a preview of their own result, which does more for cooperation than any amount of encouragement from a parent.
Dr Kyi reviews and refines every ClinCheck plan herself rather than accepting the automatic one.

That depends entirely on your child, and anyone who gives you a number before seeing them is guessing. Dr Kyi will give you a realistic timeframe at the assessment, based on the 3D scan of your child’s actual teeth, before you commit to anything.

Dr Chaw-Su Kyi is an Accredited Specialist in Orthodontics, listed on the GDC specialist register, and has spent her entire career in orthodontics - including years at Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London Hospital. She was named Specialist Orthodontist of the Year for South East England in 2025.
That matters most with children. Growing jaws are not small adult jaws, and knowing when to act and when to wait is the part that takes years of training to get right.
Book online or leave your details and we will call you back to find a time that suits the school run.
We send a short video tour of the practice by WhatsApp, so your child has already seen the place before they walk in.

If the timing is right, treatment begins. If it is not, we keep an eye on your child and tell you when it is.
Every quote is all-inclusive. One agreed price covers the scans, every appointment, retainers at the end of active treatment, and 12 months of supervised care afterwards. No hidden costs and no surprise invoices halfway through.

Most do, and seeing the simulation of their own finished smile at the first appointment helps more than you might expect. Aligners need to be worn for most of the day to work, so we are honest with both of you about that from the start. If we do not think it will work for your child, we will say so and suggest something else.
For the right case, yes. For some children a fixed brace or another appliance is genuinely the better answer, and Dr Kyi will tell you which group your child is in. She is a specialist orthodontist, so she is not limited to recommending the one thing she happens to offer.
It happens. Call us and we will tell you what to do, which is usually to go back to the previous set while we sort a replacement. It is not a disaster and it will not undo the treatment.
Sometimes. Early treatment is often phase one of two, dealing with the things that are easier to address while a child is growing, with a second phase in the teenage years once all the adult teeth are through. If that is what we expect, we will say so at the assessment rather than later. You can read more about early orthodontic treatment and how two-phase treatment works.
A specialist consultation for a child is £95, which is an hour with Dr Kyi including the 3D scan and photographs. You leave with a written plan and full costs whether or not you go ahead.
