What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligners that gradually move your teeth into place. Each set is custom-made to your mouth from a precise 3D scan - no metal brackets, no wires.
You wear each aligner for around one to two weeks before moving to the next in the series, with most people completing treatment in 6-18 months.
How does it work?
We capture a digital scan of your teeth and Dr Kyi maps every movement, tooth by tooth, into a personalised plan. Your aligners are then made to apply gentle, controlled pressure in the right sequence.
You wear them 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat and clean your teeth, and visit us periodically so your specialist can check progress.
Who will I see?
Your treatment is led throughout by Dr Chaw-Su Kyi, a GDC-registered specialist orthodontist - not a general dentist offering Invisalign as a sideline.
You will also be looked after by our orthodontic therapists and treatment coordinators, who handle your scans, fittings and day-to-day questions in our unhurried, private rooms.
Technology used
We use the iTero Lumina scanner to capture a fast, putty-free 3D impression of your teeth and to preview your potential result before you commit to anything.
Combined with Invisalign's ClinCheck planning - personally refined by Dr Kyi - it means your treatment is mapped with millimetre accuracy from day one.
Who we treat
As well as Invisalign for adults, we offer Invisalign for our younger patients too.
- Invisalign First is for children whose jaws are still growing and whose adult teeth are still arriving. Guiding growth while it is still easy to guide can mean simpler, shorter treatment later on.
- Invisalign Teen is built around teenage life. Aligners come out for meals, sport and photographs, and built-in wear indicators mean progress is never a guessing game.
All three are planned by Dr Kyi herself, tooth by tooth.

How long does Invisalign take?+
Most adults complete treatment in 6-18 months, depending on the complexity of the case. At your free smile simulation we will give you a realistic timeline based on your 3D scan, before you commit to anything.
Does it hurt?+
Invisalign is gentle. You may feel mild pressure for a day or two when you move to a new aligner - that is the teeth moving, and it settles quickly. There are no brackets or wires to irritate your cheeks and gums.
