Teenagers care how things look. They also lose things, play sport, sit exams and take a great many photographs. Invisalign Teen is the version of Invisalign designed around all of that, and it is planned here by a specialist orthodontist rather than by software.
Small blue dots on the aligners fade as they are worn, so whether they are being worn is a fact rather than a conversation.
The aligners are made to allow for adult teeth that have not fully come through yet.
The treatment is designed with the realities of teenage life in mind, because aligners do occasionally get lost.
Most people they talk to will never notice, which for a self-conscious fifteen-year-old is the whole argument.
No food restrictions, no brackets to come loose on the pitch, and nothing to think about when a camera comes out.
Cleaning around a fixed brace is hard, and the marks left when it is done badly are permanent. Aligners come out.
An iTero Lumina scan previews the finished smile at the very first visit.
Dr Kyi reviews and refines every ClinCheck plan herself rather than accepting the automatic one. We are an Invisalign Platinum Elite practice, an award given by Align for treating over 500 cases.

Dr Chaw-Su Kyi is an Accredited Specialist in Orthodontics, listed on the GDC specialist register, and has spent her entire career in orthodontics - including years at Great Ormond Street Hospital and University College London Hospital. She was named Specialist Orthodontist of the Year for South East England in 2025.
That matters most with children. Growing jaws are not small adult jaws, and knowing when to act and when to wait is the part that takes years of training to get right.
Book online or leave your details and we will call you back to find a time that suits the school run.
We send a short video tour of the practice by WhatsApp, so your child has already seen the place before they walk in.
An hour with Dr Kyi, including an iTero Lumina 3D scan with no moulds, clinical photographs, and x-rays only where they are clinically needed.
What she has found, explained on screen so you can both see it, with a written plan and inclusive fees. Then a Zoom follow-up with Laura, our treatment coordinator, within 48 hours.
If the timing is right, treatment begins. If it is not, we keep an eye on your child and tell you when it is.
Every quote is all-inclusive. One agreed price covers the scans, every appointment, retainers at the end of active treatment, and 12 months of supervised care afterwards. No hidden costs and no surprise invoices halfway through.
Scans, every appointment, retainers and 12 months of supervised care, in one agreed price.
For larger treatment costs we offer 0% interest-free finance over 12 months through Tabeo, subject to status.
A specialist consultation for a child is £95. You can see all of our fees here.
The aligners have wear indicators built in - small blue dots that fade with wear. You are not relying on being told, and neither are we.
Call us. Usually your teenager goes back to the previous set while we arrange a replacement. It is common, it is not a disaster, and it will not undo the treatment.
For many cases, yes. For some, a fixed brace is genuinely the better answer, and because Dr Kyi is a specialist orthodontist she offers both and will tell you which is right rather than steering you towards one. You can read about fixed braces here.
Appointments are spaced out through treatment and we will work around the school day where we can. Tell us when you book if there is an exam period to avoid.
Retainers, which are included in the fee, and 12 months of supervised care afterwards. Teeth move for life, so retainers are not an optional extra at the end - they are part of the treatment.
